I previously had a 7490Kg lorry, taxed as a private HGV, that I used for transporting my own vehicles to vintage shows. As the lorry was over 15 years old I obtained vintage insurance for the lorry as well costing £60 . My new 7490Kg lorry is only 13 years old and I have been quoted £800 for a years TPFT insurance only doing 2000 miles a year. Is there any cheaper insurance available - I cant seem to find any.
Thanks

Your best bet on this Trailer, there must be in your area a local Haulage contractor have a word with them. what is your area?
Probably best to go through a broker as this is going to be specialised. I use M E French in Preston for my truck insurance. Wish it was only £800!!!!
