Following on from a conversation at work about how different people have breakfast barms (or rolls/baps etc... for non Northerners) or what they do have for breakfast.

Barm wise I would have either sausage with on it's own, with tomato sauce or with egg, definitely no tomato sauce if egg though. Bacon either on it's own or with tomato sauce - definitely no egg with bacon in a barm though I'd have them together on a plate. No brown sauce either on anything - ick!.

I don't often have breakfast, just coffee usually, save the weekend but I'd go for cereal like Special K/Cornflakes/Frosties/Sugar Puffs with skimmed milk or hot oat cereal or Weetabix when it's colder (can't eat things like Cheerios, Cocoa Pops or Crunchy Nut Cornflakes) and maybe some toast with proper butter and marmite or marmalade - must be shredless though and not too strong.

I now have a really big craving for toast and marmalade!

We have different combinations of breakfast stuff.

Bacon sandwich - with brown sauce - and sometimes with an egg in it.

Full breakfast is bacon egg square sausage black pudding hash brown tomato - sometimes OH has beans - that's only ever on Sundays

Sausage sarnie on its own sometimes with mustard, sometimes with brown sauce
I have a very boring healthy breakfast of unsweetened muesli followed by yogourt. However when I am on holiday I tuck into the full self-service breakfast.
hp sauce on beans
english mustard on black pudding
hp sauce on bacon
Never had a barm in my life, hun. ;) Gimme a full breakfast stick any day. Sausage, bacon, egg, mushroom and onion with tom sauce... or brown... or both. I'm not fussy, nor very ladylike, as you can tell. I don't actually eat breakfast, but if I'm hungover, I can eat the equivalent of a horse. Oh, and I like cereal in the evening. :)
Er, what's 'breakfast'?

Even if I get up really early in the morning (e.g. at 4am) I rarely eat anything at all until well into the afternoon.
I adore a fry-up after a night out, though. The best I ever had was at a gorgeous guest house in Edinburgh. I had to leave half, though, as I didn't want to show myself up in front of new bloke. Still kick myself for that. :)
I have peanut butter on one slice of toast or a bowl of fruit n fibre. To drink its a glass of home made elderberry cordial - cold in the summer, warm in the winter. I have it day in, day out and it keeps colds at bay. I then have coffee at about 10 am at work.

Same at the weekends.

Never eat breakfast baps. I might I sppose have a hot egg sandwich for a Saturday lunch once in a while but not often.
Normal: Coffee and a fag.

Weekend: bacon and egg butty, coffee and a fag.

Special: bacon, eggs. beans tomatoes, coffee and a fag. (extra special, add black pudding)
I rarely have breakfast but will occasionaly have a bacon sarnie on a weekend. Just a thin bit of marg and bacon on a fresh loaf, kethcup just ruins it.

On the rare occasion I find I do want breakfast it's normally just boring old Wheetabix - caked in sugar!
Usually Sugar Puffs for me with some blueberries or raspberries in. OH has Crunchy Nut Flakes. Weekends maybe bacon in lightly toasted bread or maybe a pannini. I like grilled tomato in mine. If i have an egg with it (only occasionally) I will sometimes put brown sauce on it to cover the taste of the egg white. Hate egg white, I take most of it off.
Bacon, egg and brown sauce is required.
weekdays only tea and a ciggy
Saturday toast and marmalade, Sunday a chocolate croissant.
Oh yeah Chuck reminded me, my daily 'breakfast' is normally a cup of tea followed my fags and more tea. But as I'm on a health kick, I use Splenda instead of sugar ;)
Being of a Continental bent, my choice is croissants, pain au chocolat or toasted Grande Mange paysan (Waitrose) with strong, thick-cut marmalade and lots of strong coffee.

Tell you what Whiskey, I reckon we should have a big night out with corresponding big fry up the morning after :)

I love a fry up, egg, bacon, beans, hash browns, fried egg (has to have dippy yolk) and tinned or grilled tomatos! A rare treat though, usually on holiday.

I try to eat breakfast more often now. Too much surviving on coffee and trying to cut down on that too.

...and sausage...I forgot the sausage! I'd admit the coffee comes with a fag as usual for me too!
But that will put several mancunian coffe shop owners out off business!
I wouldnt dream of not having my lovely bowl of porridge 365 days a year, unless I'm camping or on any other holiday. lol

That's very true Chuck haha! They don't have to panic too much just yet though. I'm quite renowned for my usual haunts, friends have been known to just wander past at certain times to see if I'm there...and usually am!
In winter I like my porridge pussinboots with honey or treacle on it. I forgot to mention that I like a couple of cups of strong coffee for breakfast, thats when I used to enjoy my ciggies the most.
