I am doing a tabletop sale on saturday with various home made cake etc. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas i could use to sell some cheap home made produce other than cakes?
Im not much of a chef, i was thinking home made jam or anything that isnt to expensive to make. Any ideas especially with recipies would be fantastic as i only have a few days to get cracking. We are raising money for my kids local school. Thanks guys.

jam, in my opinion is expensive to make (unless you have any fruit out near you atm eg blackberries)

I made a batch of gingerbread men hope they sell well .
Little jellys? Also, buy some squash & sell drinks in little paper cups < not home made but saleable!
Also kerrie,
if you're feeling adventurous!! :0) ... How about making a gingerbread house? This recipe has been decorated for the Christmas season ... but decoration wise, you can adapt it and let your imagination go wild. Jelly tot decorated roof? The beauty with something like this is you can 'raffle' it!! It's not as hard as it seems & fantastic when you come to put it all together .. kids love it!
Mars bar cake is fab for these kind of things:

3 Mars Bars
3 Tbsp Golden Syrup
3oz Butter
Enough Rice Krispies to coat
200g Good quality milk or white chocolate

METHOD

Melt mars bars, syrup and butter in a pan.

When combined add rice krispies, and stir until coated.

Press into a greased and lined oblong tin and leave to set.

Top with melted chocolate and cut into squares when cold. (I swirl the chocolate over the squares as it looks prettier!)
OOh yeah vodka!! Gooey chewey yumminess ! :0)
Lol you may want to double the recipe....it disappears fast!
