Hiya, is child benefit paid weekly or monthly? I got a week's worth about three weeks ago, but my letter says i was entitled to 8 week's worth. I was wondering if perhaps they paid the first week and then would pay a month's worth, then 3 weeks worth

you can get it paid weekly or 4-weekly if you are on a low income. otherwise it's four weekly only. you may get a payment of a month in a weeks time but this still leaves you out by 3 weeks. i would phone and ask for what date the payment received was to cover.

i know what period it is supposed to cover, thanks. I am entitled to 8 weeks worth.
