Can anyone recommend shoes that don't rub?
8 Answers
Second time lucky. I wrote my question and it disappeared.
Can anyone recommend a brand of shoes that they can honestly say doesn't and never did rub on the back of their heel? I'm onto my fourth purchase now, desperately trying to find a pair of shoes for my hols. Not serious hiking shoes, but a pair that will be comfortable to wear whilst we tramp around hither and yon. Maybe a brand that has padding on the back of the heel. I've tried the usual brands like Hotter, but no luck so far. I don't want to end up with blisters. Flip flops are great for the Summer because they're obviously backless, but I need to find a pair of comfortable shoes before we go. Help!

Ihave had them for about 2 years now and apart from the very first week (pretty much all shoes need a week to soften) they have never rubbed. They are light and very comfy and i have no problems with them.

Try Wolky shoes. They are brilliantly comfortable for holiday walking and sightseeing. They are a bit pricey but well worth it. And ... all ages wear them.

Personally I've never had a problem with Clarks shoes. I know when they are going to be comfy enough for traipsing around a city in when they feel like a pair of slippers when I put them on. Usually, it's not the most stylish shoes which are comfy, but if I'm going to be doing a lot of walking I don't care!
