Agree with JJ and RH, though I don't find McIntyre amusing at all, particularly when he goes into shout mode. Your analogy isn't that funny either, Blades, and borders on being extremely distasteful....

I think JS is moderately funny but Dawn French is about as funny as Lennie Henry, there is more to humour than laughing at your own jokes

I enjoy comedy shows like Frasier, Flight Of The Conchords, and The Imbetweeners, and comedians such as Tim Vine, Michael McIntyre, Sarah Millican, and best of all Frank Skinner

French and Saunders produced some comedy classics. the send-ups they did of major films were excellent.. did you not see their version of Silence of the Lambs?

I love Michael Mcintyre, he was a breath of fresh air after all the so called funny comedians, the ones who think it's ok to continually swear, use the disabled, mentally ill as a punching bag, and then expect us to laugh.

i watched Stewart Lee once, on the critics recommendation, the consensus seemed to be he was hilariously funny, a riot, clever, and so forth, but i failed at the first fence, he wasn't any of those things, and after first show never took up the challenge of watching again.
