How many sweets do you reckon I would need to fill one of these? http://www.ebay.co.uk...ba1d76f#ht_1265wt_962

Obviously I can see the size but I can't envisage them - I can envisage 4oz of sweets so if anyone has any ideas I would be grateful. (They are for my son's birthday party - I have booked a soft play place but the price no longer includes party bags and I know from experience that the stuff in a party bag just hangs around the house. I reckon the sweets would actually get eaten.)

At a guess I'd say 2oz of sweets. You could wait until they arrive, fill one with a few sweets and then weigh them.

Thanks Maidup - 2oz doesn't seem much. Can't order the bags and then the sweets as his party is on 22 January and I was going to get wholesale sweets on the net (can't go to the local wholesaler that we are a member of because they no longer allow children in - and I always haven't least two children with me).

That's a thought - I could get them to stand on each others shoulders and chuck a long coat over them!
I'd put in a normal amount of sweets that you would actually allow your own child to eat and if it doesn't look enough to fill the bag, top it up with popcorn, rainbow drops or something.
