Sorry but cotary to what some others have said a community service order is a punishment and can not be taken just when it is convenient . You may be excused for a time if there are very strong reasons , like serious illness in the family that means you heve to go away but they WILL NOT change it just to go on holiday. At present the questioner is not certain that his GF will get community service , she may get a tough magistrate who decides to send her to jail.Could she put that off to go on Holiday? same principle, if you can't do the time don't do the crime !
A lot of the young kids I've mentored Eddie have been given time off their community service to go on holiday- it's a fact- you can ask for time off for any reason you like, they don't have to give it to you, but it is 100% their discretion, was all I was saying and it does happen, reasonably frequently.
I have 7 single placement (as opposed to group works) community payback lads who work with me and i'm pretty sure that as long as they tell their offender manager, holidays are allowed as they have a year to complete their com. payback.
One particular lad works abroad for a bit of time so he's going to do 4 days with me one week, and then he may be away with work for the next two weeks.

well is not a suprise that she can not avoid breaking the law and when expected to face the consequences of her actions and take what sentence is handed to her by the judge she is expecting to disregard her "sentence" and do as she wishes ie go on holiday .... send her to custody when she appears in court then she will have a holiday like never before !! :) Hope you will make the effort of visiting her when she gets sent down enjoy the visits across a table
