Weve just received an invite to a wedding reception at Stafford Rangers football ground for july this year. Can anyone tell me what its like there for receptions. If its not very nice, we dont want to travel all the way from Yorkshire for it. I know it probably sounds a bit mean byut its also awkward to get to get to from here and its a second time around wedding so probably no frills.

Not much to go from on the website, only one pic.
How far is it from Bridlington, TOH ?
Aah ... 142 miles ... so 3 or 4 hours?

But wedding receptions are always a blast.

Plus a cheeky night away in a hotel.

Go for it !!

thank you all for your answers and thanks for link Philtaz. Ive got a month to decide
I am intrigued by Stafford Rangers "Legends" Suite. Wonder who they are/were?
I have found that Non league football grounds club houses (and I have been to a few) are a big step up from church halls. These places are a major source of revenue for the club and they are well kept and presented. Like a decent local.

thanks Dave and Gromit. I agree the pic of it on the link looks really nice and its not as far as I thought from us but we would have to stay over.
Stan Collymore ...Gromit.

He's a legend on Cannock Chase

Stafford isn't that bad a place and there are some nice places in the surrounding countryside.
It's easy to get to and although a little too close to Wolverhampton for comfort should be ok.
I've been to the ground a few times but it's been a while ago.
