I' ve just been reading the current jokes and the remarks made (which I do every morning as a cheer-up process) and wondered why it is that people feel it incumbent to criticise them. They don't have to be historically correct, they are supposed to be funny and you are supposed to laugh (or not as the case may be). Far be it from me to tell peeps what to do, but I would like to understand this aspect of human minds. Anyone got any suggestions?

At least this is preferable to the other alternative, polite applause followed by an
embarrassing silence! (Graveyard, Tumbleweed, yawn, yawn!)
