What would be the equivalent of £130 in today's money?

In 1962 I answered an advertisement for a male health check such as is performed annually on airline pilots. I am glad that I did the test as the doctor found that I had unusually high blood pressure for a man of 32. I have been taking tablets ever since to keep the blood pressure at 120/80
I believe that, today, some health authorities offer a free health check and I wonder what that would be worth, privately, in 2012.

Thank you for your helpful replies, ChuckFickens, anneasquith,Howard Kennitby and Factor30. I found £130 expensive at the time, but, in retrospect, it was money well spent. The problem with hypertension is that you feel well in spite of it. If left un-noticed it could lead to a heart attack.
