As some may know...just finished uni l..at the moment getting Job seekers untill a job comes up...
ILa scotland fund i think upto 200 quid for a college course.....i fancy going to learn something while i have some spare time aside from my job hunting!?
Massage or something enjoyable after my hard slog at uni lol (even though i LOVED my course it was trying at times)
This would be ok to do wouldnt it? As ila send the money straight to the college....plus it would be part time or weekend and proboy only a short course for a few weeks? Xx
How old are you Tink 21.. 22. Older people have paid into the system all their lives. The only people getting anything out of the system is the youth. Get your self a job ANY job, until what you are looking for turns up.
I`ve said on here before why I took a massage course when I had to give up my job. I ended up earning more than my job had paid. Do it well and it can really pay off. It`s also something that fits in well when a family comes along!
MM. Im nearly 25.....ive paid into the system since being 16 and just got myself a degree in adult nursing...im awaiting registration and have been applying for jobs. Im would like to find something else to learn which i would want to learn job or not...lf i get a job tomorrow ill still want to go and learn...
Gness i saw a massage one and a reflexology one :0) ooh ill call tomorrow...the site says i am eligable x
No worries MM :) i had a prob with some paperwork at uni :( so im delayed a bit but i applied to work as unqualified even befre my course ended so i ear interviews are soon- gets my face known too and open up to potential qualified jobs hopefully! But i need some dosh in meantime so im signing on which i think im entitled to :) looking at other jobs but desperate to stick to somethinh where i wont loose my skills .......fancy learning a wee something though ...that ILA is good 200a year towards course in my local college x
Give the girl a break MM. She`s not sitting about on her bum by the sound of it.
Training, planning ahead and full of ideas. I think the young have it harder than we did unless you are a lot older than me, then I apologise.
Ooh really craft!? Never thought
About that! Obviously i have NO trouble shoving needles in folk
Haha ill look that up!
I said on another thread- i think massage etc is still inkeeping with my degree to an extent so ill enjoy learning but hopefully itl
Come in handy one day xx
I wish you luck with all your future plans Tinks as you know♥
My eldest daughter has 3 children and at 35 she is heading towards her degree to get into mental health nursing, I am so very proud of her♥
Acupuncture Craft. Fantastic. Instant relief from a bad back pain when I was pushed into it by a devotee. Now I have a session two or three times a year just to keep my back and shoulders supple and fit for pummeling my clients.
Think ill try accupuncture again...i tried for hayfever but didnt realise you needed alot of sessions and couldnt afford the 10 they said i needed! Haha i went with my ex and he had the flippin needles near his eyes LOL eeek!
Ooh mamya thats FAB it takes a special person to do MH nursing...i loved my MH placement...i also found the way nurses dealt with patients so so admirable....shame , i seen some really ill people but cared for so so well!! Ive no doubt she will LOVE it...and i know how well you wish me mammy <3 xxx
No no Tink. They should`t tell you that you need ten sessions. My first one worked so well that when I went back the next week for the one I had booked my acupuncturist said I didn`t need it and refused to charge me.
