Very slow roasted beef

I have a 2.5kg beef roast. I want to cook it verrrrrry slowly, (plan to braise the outside and then roast at 95C ... How long should this take? The meat need to be medium rare (done on outside but pink centre) can u help with times pls?

I don't understand what you mean by "braise the outside" as braising means cooking slowly in a small amount of liquid. Very difficult to get any rareness on the inside if cooked like this.
Baste the outside?
Cook it in a slow cooker for about 8 hours, after searing and browning the outside first. Add some chopped vegetables and a little stock with wine.. Always works for me.
