Anyone watching this very emotional programme - little Colombian boy born with a massive mole on his back so he looks like a turtle with a shell - poor poor little boy, I'm really weeping for him and his family. Hope the operation ends well.

I've got it on in the background but I can't bear to watch it until the end when I'm hoping for a good outcome. Things like this make me cry and I don't want to cry :o(

Gosh I cried and cried but happily it had a brilliant outcome. After the pioneering operation at Bogata, (with the help and skill of English plastic surgeon Neil) little Didier had 5 kilos of mole/fat removed from his back- amazing! It was a real success after many skin grafts and he is now back home and can now lead a normal life. A real inspiring programme.
Yes, it was a brilliant outcome. So happy for him :o)))

Wasn't he a cute little boy, he's got beautiful little face with big eyes. He always looked so happy and smiley. His Mum was lovely too ...........
Unfortunately, I fell asleep halfway through it (no reflection on the programme) I knew I should have recorded it as I was curious to see the outcome. Hopefully it'll be repeated on E4 or I suppose I could always catch it on C4 OD.
I went to bed, it finished too late for me - glad it was a happy outcome for the lad.

I'm hoping its repeated too, my Mum missed it and she doesn't have a computer to catch up programmes. Well worth watching if anyone missed it

I was dreading the outcome Cath - but all's well that ends well - happily! :)
Cheers for the link, Ann, I'll watch it later when the lad gets home from work because then I'll be able to watch it on the big telly via his PS3 as oppose to my pokey little computer screen. ;o)
excellent programme, and a great outcome for him and his family,
Poor little lad - I noticed he kept lightly punching his back every now and again. He must have been in terrible pain after the op. Bless his heart, it all turned out o.k.
