They rub off skin cells that have engrained dirt ...the cells will have loosened when you wash your hands
Not in our house(after you have washed your hands)my towels get used for everything especially in the kitchen.Wiping benches, floors, dog(men in the house ) not me.I am for ever washing them, buying new ones and just throwing them away, they are so digusting.I am always bleaching my dish cloths and floor cloths as they get used in the same way YES i agree this is terrible, have barred them altogether from kitchen.
The men folk not the cloths ha ha.

trust rowan to have the right answer lol. : )

fredkins, no, your first answer sounded correct lol
I have a towel that usually hangs over the side of the bath. Frankie uses it to clean his paws on once he has used his litter tray.
Oh that is sweet... suppose Princess Merlin is too thick for a clever little trick like that
Yeah - she doesn't even do the digging to Oz whilst balanced on the edge of the litter try bit. And she won't 'go' if there is anyone else in the bathroom (we share the room) but Frankie will wander in and do his stuff even if there is a stranger using the facilities.
Girls are allways shy !.
