I need glasses....
36 Answers
Broke mine about 3/4 years ago!! (i know!!)
Never replaced them....but my contacts kill me sometimes especially in summer.
However because im not working just now how do i go about getting glasses? I use specsavers for my lenses...(i pay for them)
Do i need something from the job centre or is it NHS? And any idea how much i get for glasses or towards them?
Badly need them..xxx

Ive also had free dentistry so the same would apply to that. Ive worked hard to get through uni and looked desperately for a job since december- worked since i left school at 16 and am more than entitled to some help towards glasses. And not ashamed to take it either.
Im not waiting two months-my eyes are really sore, i wouldnt be able to drive or work with no lenses and cant wear them.

If you have your last prescription take it along to specsavers daughter got a pair there for £25! Nice frames too. She sat on her other ones (she paid over £300 for them too) but much prefers the cheap and cheerful version - she's planning to go back and get the same ones in different coloured frames
if you get your lenses from Specsavers they're offering free glasses at the mo, http:// www.spe csavers ...-wit h-conta ct-lens es/
