Thieving Barstewards!! We had plants stolen from right outside my front door, in February, on more than one occasion.

It transpired others in the area had similar thefts. We now have a speaking security camera installed.

All thieves should have their fingers chopped off!!

I know exactly how you feel. A couple of weeks ago I did a hanging basket for a friend who has little mobility and is partially sighted.Spent ages at the garden choosing fragrant plants, and a couple of tactile ones.On days when it is warm enough she sits in her tiny conservatory with the door open listening to the birds and so on.
Anyway the basket was ready to go ,and I brought it from the back of my house , to the front, put it down on the drive next to the car , went in to wash my hands , came out the basket had gone. All in a matter of 2/3 minutes-- not a soul to be seen.
Am really angry , and feel like throttling someone. Will do another for her , course I will, but am upset that people can be so rotten.

OH was working on his car - popped inside for a mo, and I found a little lad gathering up his spanners and making off with them. Fortunately I heard the clattering and ran outside, he soon dropped them.

What concerns me is it may be systematic theft - if the security lights are half inched, what goes before we can get new ones up?
