God I looked so silly.....
48 Answers
Was getting off a packed train and I was wearing flip flops on my feet. As I stepped down onto the platform a girl behind me must have stood on the back of one of my flip flops. As the crowd surged forward I felt a pulling sensation around the foot area. Crowd cleared and as I looked down I saw that as she had stepped onto the back of the flip flop I had moved forward, and was now standing there with just the plastic V between my toes, and the sole was under her foot! I actually said oh it doesnt matter, to this girl who was highly embarrassed, and off I toddled with one full flip flop on, and one with no bottom!

//I looked so silly//
Smowball, I too felt very silly a few years back. Picture this - I was getting off a crowded bus in a city centre. The bus stopped in the main street just before a bus shelter for us to get off. Unknown to us the driver hadn't pulled up close enough to the kerb, so the elderly lady getting off first (in front of me) misjudged her step and fell down the gap between bus and kerb and fell all her length. Very concerned I quickly stepped down to pick her up, at the same time as the lady behind me was getting off but turning round thanking the driver. She stepped off unaware I was bending down, bottom in air picking the old lady up. She sort of leap frogged me as she saw me too late and ended up on the pavement aswell. I tried to save her too but lost my balance and all three of us lay in a complete heap on top of each other witnessed by a long line of passengers waiting to get on the bus. They were all shouting at the bus driver telling him it was his fault for not parking properly - it was SO embarrassing! Luckily us three on the floor were not hurt and ended up dusting ourselves down giggling ourselves to death at how silly we must have looked. Where was Jeremy Beadle when you needed him? :))
