Ever sent a txt to wrong person.....and really wished you hadn't!

I once sent a txt to a bloke thanking him for a wonderful evening. Unfortunately I sent it to another guy I had also seen that week ( I couldnt decide between the two!).
Needless to say I got a stroppy reply saying he was glad I had enjoyed myself but clearly it wasnt with him. Strangely enough I never heard from him again!

I sent a really pervy message to Mr P a good few years back, but accidentally sent it to my Dad instead...

(I'm cringing as I type this.)

Thankfully Dad was quite understanding claimed that he realised it wasn't for him quite quickly so deleted it before reading it all. I could die thinking that he read the whole thing...

Not a text but I did forward an email to a colleague grumbling about an obstructive, unhelpful Lady of a colleague and then discovered that I had actually replied to aforementioned obstructive, unhelpful Lady.

Incredibly she took it on the chin and sorted out the problem we had!

I once sent a text to a girlfriend while I was on the train to meet an ex telling her I didn't know why I was going to see him because I thought he was *$%*%*(£$("*.

Obviously I sent it to him. Almost screamed when I realised and had the whole train staring at me. Oddly, he still met up with me. It was very awkward.

I offered to set my mate Sarah up with "big gay Ali", by saying " well if you get particularly desperate I could set you up with big gay Ali" only to send it to big gay Ali instead of Sarah. "Charming" was the text back.

In a previous job we had a manager who was joined at the hip to another member of our department. They went everywhere together. Someone was criticising them and accidentally copied this manager in. We were all quietly working away when we heard a loud shout coming from his partioned off office as he exploded as he read it. I seem to remember that the person who wrote it was made to regret it.

2sp - I feel your pain. Years ago (cant believe im writing this) I was in a mischevious mood and took a saucy pic of myself in my underwear to send to Mr Smow. Pressed send then realised that in my hurry i had clicked on the name above his in my contact list - which was my daughter!!

Feeling quite ill I immediately deleted it and prayed that she never received it. About an hour later I got a msg saying retries exceeded. Have never felt so relieved.

I was texting my mate saying I couldn't come out that night because I was meeting crap shag. Then sent it to him...Whoops.

Not sent, but a few weeks ago in the dead of night I was woken by a text from a complete stranger explaining in grim detail all the things he would like to do to me. I had my hopes up until I saw he had addressed the text to "Sharon." That is not my name.

I got quite a pervy sex text from a very senior BT manager one Christmas Day, a few minutes later the phone rang and it was him apologising and saying it should have gone to his wife, whose name was next to mine in his directory...........her name was nothing near mine alphabetically.

I'm paranoid about sending wrong texts to people and always double ( or triple ) check the name in the send box so I've managed to avoid any disasters like that .

I did once mistake an obscene phone caller for my boyfriend though, and had quite a lively conversation before he hung up on me.
