You may see an ad saying ladies over 40 wanted to test skin care products free. This is not what it looks like. They suck you in pretending you are part of a trial and all you are being charged is postage and packing. Please enter your credit card details here. Then if you look closely it says if you dont like the product you must return it in 14 days, and if you keep it you are then giving them permission to take 90 quid from your credit card. Be very careful!

I've heard about this scam somewhere before. I never buy online, although I reckon I'll be wanting industrial strength cream before long.

I make it a habit not to pursue any ads that ask for cc details. Even when you click "why do we need this" & it says to verify you're in UK or something equally daft - nope, soon as that comes up, that x gets clicked.

I reported this ad to the advertising standards authority and have just heard they have ruled against the company and this advert or anything similar can not appear again as it breaches standards. I am so pleased and it shows it is worth reporting such things!
