Something I heard on Radio4 today at the end of the 1:45 programme.

The continuity announcer was talking about the 2:15 play ...

"all about the many years Albert Speer spent in Spandau Ballet.... er Prison"

Poor thing. Must be news to Tony Hadley then.

Years ago when the tv weather forecast was displayed on a magnetic board of the country, words like 'rain' or 'snow' were placed on the board in individual letters. On one occasion the forecaster placed FOG over an area and the letter F slipped off the board. "Sorry about the F in fog", he apologised.
