Windows Live Mail Problem

I have been using Windows live mail for years and never had any problems.Now every time I go into it I get a box saying "you are working offline,would you like to go online now". I press yes and the box comes up a second time. I then click on send/receive and eventually get my emails. Then next time I go into my mail it happens again. Can anyone help/explain please. Thank you.
