over last few years me and wife have sent all our money to thailand. we now have 3,450,000 thai baht in bank. we sent it when the exchange rate was floating around 56 baht to the pound. the exchange rate today is 46 thai baht to the pound. if we were to transfer this money back to uk bank today. how much would we lose ? gain ?

3450000 Thai Bhat was worth £61607.
It's now worth £75000.
You can work out the gain from that.
There may be currency conversion/commission charges though, and the actual rate you get may differ from the one you quote as there may be a spread between buying and selling rates

I hope, for your sake, that there are no currency restrictions operating there.
