Feeling Better At Last

Have been feeling poorly for months now with 'acid reflux' issues going weeks ok then really discomforted. Various trips to Dr's had not been too successful and I was starting to get a bit upset about it all. Digestion trouble,pain in rib cage front and back. Went back to surgery 2 wks ago and saw my'old' Dr (who had retired but acts as locum now & then) He prescribed tablets and referred me for blood tests and H Pylori bacteria check-well-results back today-all blood tests fine but H pylori result abnormal-he's given me a weeks course of strong anti biotics and increased acid suppressant tablets during this time. Started tablets and pain already going!! I feel so much better already. Have already changed what I eat to prevent acid and he says course of treatment will control H pylori bacteria back to normal levels . I know I'll have to be vigilant for any re occurence in the future but Just wanted to put my happiness into words. Bye all.

Well the old adage doctors differ patents die (not exactly in this case, thank goodness) seems to still be true. Hope you get some relief and no reoccurance x
