Seagulls And Owls

Oh hey, I've just seen that the team playing us tonight are Sheffield Wednesday, and their nickname is the Owls.
And we are the Seagulls.
Seagulls and Owls.
Is there any basis of a sort of "similar things" thread here?
(probably not)

Living near Ipswich, I'd be happy if either the Seagulls or the Owls dealt severely with those ruddy Canaries up the road at any time. (Norwich City). It's arguable as to where the Magpies might fit in the chain, as they can be quite aggressive. Coming from three different directions (Notts County, Maidenhead United and Newcastle United) might give them a bit of an advantage!
Indeed, if the Robins all banded together (Altrincham, Bristol City, Charlton Athletic, Cheltenham Town & Swindon Town) they might become quite a force too ;-)

Has anyone mentioned the Bluebirds of Cardiff? There's another two bird-offs. You could expand it further into Rugby...
The skillful form of peanut hugging:

NFL:
Baltimore Ravens
Philadelphia Eagles
Etc. Etc.

Time to meet my pal and join the Sheffield supporters in the town, before they drink all the pubs dry, lol.
Hope the Owls are jolly company.
And then ... going to the match. I suppose we could get a couple of Owls in our cab, if they turn out to be friendly.
Anyway, have a good evening. Be good, blah blah, yada yada. Mwah. JJ x
