A bank is robbed at gunpoint, and the security cameras show that the robbery happened on Tuesday at 3.00pm Graham is convicted of the crime, even though he was able to prove through numerous eyewitnesses that he was in a completely different place at that time and date. Why was he found guilty?

Something to do with time-zones and international borders (for instance the clocks change by an hour as you drive across from Spain to Portugal) - alibi in one country, crime in the other?

I've now been given the answer.

It actually happened in a town on the Georgia/Alabama border in the United States, where there is a time zone difference of an hour between the two States. Hence Graham could be in two different places at 3.00pm!
