Annoying Sales Phone Callers.....
28 Answers
PPI, Life Insurance, Surveys, Loft Insulation Company's etc. etc.
I used to just put the phone down but, the past few weeks I have been having a bit of fun if I am not busy.
My 1st is to say to the person asking me to take a Survey is, ''Only if you sing me a song first''
My 2nd to the others is ''Sorry to busy making love to my niece/cousin''
Or, ''sorry busy at the moment, can you give me your home tel number and will call you later tonight''
Its funny to hear their responses!
What do you do?

I read in the paper the other day about the guy who bought himself an 0845 telephone number for around £10 which he gives out as his phone number to organisations. (He has his regular land line number for friends and family). Now when he is called by any business, he keeps them on the phone as long as possible as he makes money from such calls
/I wonder do they know how annoying it is to be called and asked for more? /
Yes they do sandie
I have measured and reported it to them - and that bit wasn't news to them
the quandary is that that sort of campaign raises a lot of money although i would argue it does more damage in the longer term
Rest assured Sandie, there are people working on more acceptable ways to raise the money in a more 'ecological' manner but it's not easy to fly in the face of the short term numbers
