In 1985 I belonged to a book club and bought a biggish book for my then unborn Grandson.
That book was worth its weight in gold as we'd spend hours reading and re-reading the many stories. Many pages were illustrated and somewhere would be a little picture of a wiggly worm.
Am not expecting a Great Grandchild and sentimental old me would love to buy the same book.
Anyone know of the book or where I might look for one. Ebay and Amazon don't appear to have what I am looking for.
I do recall buying a book called '365 stories for children' for our first child and both she, and her sister were reading quite well by the age of four. I read them a story every night when they were in bed and I got home from work. It was then passed on for use with grandchildren. Very effective method of getting them interested in stories and reading.
