Mum wants me to say HI to all her old AB mates & say she is fine but missing you all. There is no change with her sight& is on a learning curve with the RNIB& hopes to have the equipment to help her very soon.
She said she's lived in her bungalow for 4 years now but Aunty Mabel will insist on sending her a 'Slinky' every year for Xnas....
How good to have news of Jem! Please send her our best wishes. Did she get in touch with woodelf on here, who is also blind and offered to give her some help and advice?
Please pass my good wishes to your mum - we miss her on here and hope that eventually she will get some aids which will allow her to come back and cheer us all up with her jokes and sense of fun.

Hi Sarah, how lovely to hear news from your dear Mum. Please give our love and tell her we miss her and reading her great jokes. Tell her we are thinking of her and hope she can find some way of being back on AB again, and wish her and the family a very Happy Christmas. God bless you Jem. Ann x
PS tell her I did secret Santa presents from our childhood years in the 50s for our church ladies group last week, and yes - guess who got the slinky? A lady who lived in a bungalow too!
