Tomorrow, Friday, there is more Curling, and the final runs in the Skeleton.

Lizzie yarnold is sooooooo far ahead of the field ... what could go wrong!

In the meantime, Team GB are basking in the glory of our position on the medals table ... joint bottom.

Marvellous.

But at least we are ON the medals table. Well done, Jones.

So guys, see you on the other side for the Skeleton.

Come on, Lizzie!!!

Although it doesn't start until 12.30. I might hop on a plane and go to see the BF for the weekend. Not decided yet.

We can chat over coffee in the morning, on Day 8.

See you there, guys.

Well I'm keeping up JJ, just! I've managed to avoid the results and watched the whole of todays events on the recording. Loved the triple USA performance this morning in the snowboarding, sobbed for the GB speed skaters and laughed all the way through the luge relay. Thoroughly enjoyed all of it.

See you in the morning and if i time my day well, I'll catch the skeleton live at lunchtime.

Speed skating ... heart breaking.

It's all in the timing to catch the Skeleton.
I'm still laughing at Henrik Harlaut's trouser trouble ...
Morning, I'm ready for another days action
skeleton...EEK !
Question Author
I know. I think it's on at 12.30pm

It's just possible that nobody's second day times will beat Lizzie's first day time. She has a huge lead.

She could spend the day in bed, and still win Gold.

But let's not speak too soon, eh?

Still, you know ... hopes, hopes ...
Hi JJ have you got any idea when Tornville and Dean will be doing there Bolero there .
Question Author
They are up next, Wendi...

Morning all. Today's skeleton timings are:

Men's run 1, 12.30pm, run 2, 2pm
Women's run 3, 3.40pm, run 4 (medal moment) 4.50pm

The times for all four runs are added together and the lowest total wins. Our girl still needs two more great runs to stay at the top. Go Lizeee!

Question Author
Oh, thanks maydup.

So it's not the fastest single time?

Lizzie had better get out of bed, then.
Felt sorry for Elise Christie yesterday fell came in second and was placed last. One minute British next Scottish again ?

Chin up bonnie lassie

Another 2 chances of a medal.

Nessie xxxx Speed skating on my Loch.
Question Author
Hi, Nessie. Yes, poor Elise. Very unfair.

BYE !

So, after a little deliberation, I have decided that I am going to the BFs today. Well, it is Valentine's Day so, you know ...

:0)

If there are no tickets this afternoon, I might be back here, lol.

We might drive up and ski on Saturday. Or we might just, you know, stay in bed.

:0o

So anyway, if anyone feels like covering Days 9, 10 and 11, that would be jolly.

Hope you all have a fab, fab Valentine's night.

Hope Lizzy Yarnold wins Gold. Her travelling supporters are called the Yarnie Army. They will be going crazy.

And I'll see you on the other side ... of the weekend.

Hugs and kisses.

JJ x x x
I nominate Maydup to cover if you're away.

I'll have to watch the highlights all weekend as I'm working :o(

Have a good time JJ and here's hoping for some medals x
Another good result for the GB team in Women's curling! Five points on the last end to seal a 12-3 win.
Lizzy Yarnold has good run #3 - looks like she'll have a decent lead going into the final run.

Fourth run begins at 16:30pm - Lizzy due to go at about 17:05pm.
YEEEEEEEEEEES! GOLD. XXXXXX
:-)
