Topiary Hedges
2 Answers
Hi,
I have an L shaped garden and have planted Topiary box tree hedges all round a couple of years ago. Unfortunately I did not dig out the clay deep enough and the roots clogged up with clay which resulted in some dying. Last summer I dug out a further 2 feet but it is still not good enough. The long section of the L shape is fine as there is drainage but the short is joined next door as it is a terraced house. Am I using the correct compost do I need to make holes in the soil so it drains?
Thanks
