I saw a great big bee yesterday flying around.

My friend has a blackbird nesting in her garden, I saw a blackbird collecting nesting material this morning and I saw a bee when out dog walking earlier today! All seems a bit early to me .....

I was down in East Lothian the other day and the blackbird were flying about daft getting their nests ready.
It's certainly looking good. :)
