I'm sure you have both been on tenterhooks awaiting the results of my neuro tests....I'm normal.....☺
Nice place....Nene Park in Irthlingborough....clean and efficient...arrived early was seen immediately and out early....though the pubs weren't yet serving lunch so that was a bummer.
Gorgeous doctor....Italian...very attractive....annoyingly good figure...Sqad would be drooling. She really had no idea why I was there any more than I did. I have never presented any of the symptoms she would normally be investigating but we both jumped through the hoops to please Peterborough.
I will now, as told to, make an appointment with vascular. Thanks to you both, google, my bike and acupuncture I am as fit as ever I was, with none of the walking problems which started over two years ago....that's quite good considering how severe the problem had become.
I could cancel the appointment but I really want to find out a little more about the cock up at my last visit......though if he keeps patting my thigh this time he'll regret it.
And I know Sqad won't agree but the acupuncture was fantastic....I feel ten years younger.....my body feels incredibly fit and supple....I can even swing one leg onto the draining board without a twinge or losing balance...and as for running up the stairs.......even without an incentive....hardly touch a step...... ;-)
Because I can, Sandy....one of my tests of suppleness....I like to be loose and supple.....not loose as in woman.....loose as in....well supple..
Mmm...visitors sometimes boggle too, Bernie...☺
Sqad...I'm not surprised either and never could see the need for it....I double checked by asking her what symptoms she would expect to see in a referral like this and none of them have I ever had or complained of....
All good news gness - you sound full of the joys of (not quite yet) spring.
Dunno about the acupuncture though - I prefer to believe you have cured yourself :)
I thought the symptom you were being investigated for was unexplained loss of consciousness, or have I got that wrong. What tests did they do?
Hi, Slaney....the way I felt the morning after the acupuncture amazed me... I couldn't believe how fit and well I felt...the niggle in the foot that fell out the door had gone...no tightness from all the decorating and gardening ...and then the ears popped and I could hear. It was wonderful so I will have a top up session every month I think...
I don't know why I had to have today's appointment...I really don't. The vascular guy said he didn't want to see me again unless I did....Neuro seemed as puzzled as I am....but nothing to do with blacking out which was a one off I'm sure....perhaps as the doctor in York said.....At my age it could have been the excitement of going on a train on my own....☺☺☺
Today she tested my reflexes....head to toe and my pushing and pulling strength....watched me walk on my toes then my heels....checked my coordination and asked lots of questions.... that was it I think.....
As long as I keep feeling like this I'm happy....I can now walk really well....two years ago a few yards was a struggle. I will go to see what Vascular say now.....but as for a procedure....hmmm...not that brave I'm afraid....especially as the last chap said there was the chance I could bleed to death on the operating table.....cheery bu99er......☺
