Good Morning Early Birds!

Saturday. Some cloud about and a bit cool out this morning. Not cold enough to stop the badgers playing having done their nights work. The foxes were on their way to watch the dawn and playing chase as they went. I wondered why the birds were silent, I soon saw the reason. A Sparrow Hawk was on dawn patrol. How can anything so deadly be so beautiful.

On the boat this afternoon, heritage centre tomorrow.

Those two should be in fine shape, they're fed well enough! Tiggy was on his own again last night. I've no idea where his lady friend is. I hope she's OK.

They might, but it's five miles away, a bit of an expensive project. I get the cheapo close to sell by date meats from tesco for them.

ok wbm - was in Tesco y'day myself too - in nearest 'big'' town- a wider choice of stuff than wot the 3 mini markets in my two street metropolis offer

I know what you mean mate, but I'd rather live in the two street metropolis than a town any day. I love it where I am. Open space. Wonderful! :o}

....the ''bother'' I had finding ordinary teabags too--shelves full of all types of flavoured teas n fancy teas etc--didn't realise Norn Iron folks were so civilised in their diets

It might have been a load intended for London mate. :o} I have a Lidl close by too. They do some nice stuff at good prices. I sometimes get some of their prepacked ham etc. for nightwatch. They seem to enjoy it.

anyhow-- the woodpigeons n doves n all are clearing up the grain/seed here now- after their 2 days without

The birds in my garden like the Lidl bird food too. Just as well as it's cheap...or should that be cheep! :o}

I'm sure! It's good stuff, the sparrows think they're pterodactyls and gang up on the pigeons. Even the jackdaws keep a wary eye out.
