Saturday and another phew day here ! Still not a drop of rain...up to cut dad's grass after watering my own and neighbours baskets and pots...that will take a while ....then church of ASDA ... I know how to have fun !

I've been busy with canal type stuff for the past couple of hours, nothing exciting, just a mountain of paperwork and last minute charters to be crewed, two in one day! So no walkies this morning. A charter later to Sharpness. All go innit! :o}

The nearest to a wildlife report is tiggy in with mrs.tiggy in close formation, no little'uns in sight yet, so I don't think there will be any this year. Having fed her he took her on the grand tour again. It's so lovely to watch them, such devotion. Foxy was in and out like a fox on the run, obviously in a hurry, but not about to forgo his supper!

We had some rain yesterday evening, just a shower for about 20 minutes, but I think it was trying to fit a days rain into it. I'd just watered the garden too. :o{

Another hour till I'm done then home... we might get away with a reasonable day in the east, rain clearing overnight.... tomorrow shouldn't be that bad just cooler, not that many showers in the east

slept heavily due to an exceptionally long day yesterday, but still woke up early

taking my mother to tesco this morning for her shopping - this afternoon will be spent starting to pack for my holiday

hello angel - we will spend one week on the north coast of wales in a 'haven' camp, for the kids to enjoy everything, and wear us all out -- then the second week in a cottage in norfolk so that us adults can relax in the peace & quiet
