Am I The Only Darts Aber?

Nobody ever comments on the brilliant matches been played this week in World Matchplay competition , characters getting their come-uppance, and those plodding on and not giving up hope.........and thousands of fans supporting too.

I have enjoyed watching it. Only usually watch bits and pieces but as there is nothing else on the TV except com games I have watched most of the Darts this time around. Nice to see a few of them missing the doubles as it makes for more interesting games and even the likes of Taylor and Van Gerwin are missing some shots. I especially liked last nights match between Taylor and Anderson even in the thick of the game they found time for a laugh always good to see. Should be a good final this evening.

I am all consumed with either work or the Commonwealth Games this weekend. But I did notice Stephen Fry tweet about the darts, shame he's not an Aber too!

Yes mags especially that Nicholson he is never very cheerful but I suppose that is his game hoping to put others off. Yes last night it could have gone either way and either one of them could give Van Gerwin a good game on that form.

If they played on a doubles board we might see some skill, trebles blah....we never had such things years ago....skill was playing darts on a doubles board, not trebles! As for the cowing chavs that seem to follow darts now....not for me thanks, I remember the good old days.
