Money and phone in competitions have to a certain extent cheapened the quiz shows as is just looks like the stations want to make money rather than entertain .Why was vernon on ,family fortunes is not the same since he has taken over .

Also noted that Bradley said Bruce Forsyth had done over 500 episodes of game shows, yet skipped Bob Monkhouse, who in my book was the real king of the gameshow, and must have a fair few under his belt

Does anyone remember the show hosted by Claire Sweeney where family members jumped through hoops trying to win a 2 week holiday in Spain?
I remember one episode where a woman who was clearly frightened of water had to do a balancing act on a float in a pool.

Does anyone else remember Punchlines? It was hilarious, bit like the game of consequences where someone starts a story line and others add a bit so that it gets ridiculous.
