Update..hi Again Sqad, I Just Thought I Would Give You An Update On My Daughter. She Had A Phone Call From The Hospital Just Now By The Doctor Who Saw Her Last Week Has Been Looking At Her Chest Xrays And Have Picked Up A Pneumothorax On It. She Has To G

Hi sqad, Daughter has bene feeling a lot better ove the past few days. She hadd to go back to the hospital today. She had more xrays and was told she was doing well and only 8% of her lung was deflated now.The doctor was happy with that and she has now got to go back in 6 weeks. They have told her again she must stop smoking?? well lets see tomorrow is supposed to be the start of giving up. It worried her husband so much he stopped the day she was admitted to hospital....wish she could do the same.

Could she ask someone in the hospital if those artificial cigarettes are OK? I only managed to stop by using niquitine tablets. But the cigs sound better.

A timely incident to jolt her into giving smoking up.......it could have been a more depressing outcome for her.

Lilacben, please ask her to try Champix, 4 years ago MrF and I stopped smoking, using that.
He had smoked for 60 years, and I had smoked for 50.
