..is almost like moving house, you have to find a new place for all your bits and pieces! And then you can't find anything!!
I'm not a 'handbag' person, they're just a necessity as far as I'm concerned, but they do wear out so I've recently bought a new one. I wish I hadn't.

I totally agree, I'm not a handbag person either. They're just handy to carry stuff around in ! I never like buying a new one.
So what on earth do you ladies carry in your handbags ?- some are so big you could get a mini fridge inside them .
You had to because your old bag had worn out. In time you will get used to new bag and its various zips and pockets. I recently got a new bag (from TK Max) to replace worn out bag and really like it.
Bazile, you wouldn't believe me if I told you !
try me viv - i'm really intrigued
Bazile, I would tell you but you would soon get bored. e.g. bus pass, keys, lipstick, comb, small bottle of peri peri drizzle glasses case, tissues, passport, wallet, pens, letters, diary, phone, ipod.

What do people do who have a different handbag for each outfit? Do they swap everything over each time? Or do they have six (or 7,8,9 or however many) matching sets of handbag junk? It baffles me..
I'm not a handbag person either. I carry...keys, purse, phone and cigarettes. If I'm out I might carry a small amount of makeup...
Plus small umberella, baby wipes, handcream, tampax, old receipts, shopping lists, two purses, spare nappy, bar of chocolate and so on and so on !

Four sets of keys, three lots of specs, a pharmacy worth of pills and potions, tissues for noses, tissues for other bits, enought plastic cards to cover the front of the house, the list is endless.
Bazile DID get bored and is now in Motoring section!
Good job they make large handbags with lost of pockets and zips !
I only ever have one and carry purse, a selection of everyday pills, make-up, a roll of film, cigs, phone, keys, work ID card, a bottom layer of odd coins and old receipts.
My mother changed her bag daily to match her outfits, I could never be faffed with that.
Most of the above (not Tampax though) plus Nappy sacks, handwash, white vision cane in case of crowds, fold up shopping bags, trolley tokens, cig case, spare lighters, bus timetable.

My old handbag has an across the body strap, this new jobby has a much smaller handle so it only goes on my shoulder, quite high up. It's huge too, going to take some getting used to. On the plus side it does look nice :)
I have one of these...

I only have a couple of large bags that I use daily, and when I change, I just take the above organiser out of one and plonk it in the other.
I always get an across the body strap one.
interesting list there .

By the way it's so normal for ladies products to be widely advertised in the media nowadays without anyone batting an eyelid - isn't it ? - how different from a few years ago
I used to lug the kitchen sink around with me until my bag was stolen and I lost a lot of precious stuff .
I can't carry a heavy bag these days though and use a small cross body thing that contains ,purse, keys, lippie, bus pass, phone, tissues. That's it .

Actually BOO, that's a really good idea, might look into something similar.
I have another totally enormous very soft leather handbag that my daughter in law was going to throw out, it's so soft it just collapses when you put it down and ive never used it, maybe one of those inner thingies would work in that too.
