Why Are Bigger Girls/people In General Slagging Slim Girls Off????

Ok, so I’ve noticed recently, a lot of girls on Facebook and a certain song (all about that bass) have been, for the lack of better word “slagging” slimmer girls off.
I am a naturally slim girl and I always have been, genes passed down through my family and my mother’s side have always been naturally slim. I have come to have a immediate dislike to bigger girls because of my experience because of this, like in my high school there was a much larger girl than me and she always put me down for being small, she’d say things like men like a girl with a bit of meat and you’re a dog bone! Or men like meat and dogs like bones
it makes me angry, I have not chosen to be the way I am, it’s a god’s gift and people seem to think that its ok to say "skinny as a twig" or "only dogs like bones" but it’s not ok to say things like "OMG look at her fat rolls" Make one joke about a fat girl and people go pop crazy, and someone says something to a slim girl and people don't bat an eye lash. I eat a fair bit, whenever I’m hungry and what not.
FYI - I haven’t tried to lose weight, I'm not an anorexic and I’ve never had any problems with food what so ever.

Serious answer?? I think because for years most girls have been force fed the "size zero" nonsense, there seems to be a move to more naturally shapely female figures that maybe they see it as getting their own back... not saying it's pleasant but it happens. Personally, I prefer a naturally curvy woman

It doesn't matter whether you are slim, thin, curvy or downright fat, you don't need anyone else's validation, so stop worrying what anyone else says. It's rude of them to comment but let it go, and don't assume everyone woman larger than you is a ***, that's crazy and will get you disliked for a legitimate reason. People who make silly Facebook memes really shouldn't figure on your list of worries either, but as slapshot says a lot of naturally aveage, curvy or larger girls have been fed a diet of media cr4p which tries to dictate that you can't be attractive unless you are extremely slim, and understandably there is a backlash against that- you're ticked off with them are you not telling thin girls they aren't 'feminine' enough- imagine how they feel with the whole massive media machine telling them they are ugly because they are an average size. It's time all men and women just refused to buy into this rubbish any longer, so don't feed it and enjoy your life.

Whilst it's you not I that endures the comments, I think you are probably being over sensitive and allowing yourself to get irate over that which you'd be best ignoring. Would I be right thinking you are still of school age ? The immaturity of the comments between others and yourself suggest so. The poster you linked to is of a style meant to be humorous. Whilst one might consider that one missed the mark that doesn't mean you should take it to heart. As for the other girls comments, that is a combination of natural girlish bitchiness and the desire to support one's own state and claim others are not as good. It's about self image as much as getting at you. With your combining of other girl's unpleasant behaviour and general humour stuff, you are building this into more than it is. Try to not let it get to you.

Be careful. You will probably find that however skinny you are now, if you ever have babies your metabolism will change. As you get on in life you will find you can no longer eat everything you want and stay skinny.
