as some of her friends on here may know (she emails some) cupid had her operation this morning and will be kept in hospital overnight. Data protection means I cannot do any emails on her behalf.
Hopefully she will be back tomorrow so tonight I have to fend for myself, anyone know how to boil a kettle ?

Don't bother with kettles. You can get wine in screw top bottles now. You don't even have to bother with a corkscrew. A take away curry and a nice bottle of red and food and drink problems are solved.
