If 2 people are in a house and person A opens a spare room window when they get up and then goes to work then person B goes to work an hour later leaving the window still open who is to blame?

A's argument is that the last person to leave a house should check all doors and windows
B's argument is that they were not aware the window was open

B.
Blame for what? Leaving a window open isnt a crime.
I would buy an igloo
Could lead to one tho eh naillit?

Last one to leave
Bob, as always, has a very sensible suggestion.
Thats true Zacs,
Rather than sitting and squabbling about blame, A & B need to come up with an agreed plan for the future.
Hope the people who leave the window open dont work on a submarine.....
There's no point allocating blame; that doesn't put anything right. What you've got to do is decide between you which system you are going to adopt and stick to it in future.
If the window isn't normally opened then A should inform B it has been.
Hyperthetically speaking I would say the last person to leave the house should check thats its secure before leaving.
I once tried to climb through a neighbors open window only to get stuck she came back early from bingo and battered me with a saucepan i only wanted to get back the vhs episodes of one man and his dog i had lent her
I agree with nailit...the last person out here always does the checking.
I hope it wasn't a french window!
Bob, did you ever find out whether you can beat an earwig to death with a fried egg? It's been playing on my mind recently.
Both A and B need to get a grip - haven't they anything else to worry about?
sherrard, I was just going to post the same thing!
It is possible zac but a lot depends on the rubbery consistency of the egg, also the earwig does tend to die more of shame than any blunt force trauma, imagine you spend most of your life under a rock then it ends via a badly fried egg, you would be forgiven for thinking you didn't have a great life
A is in the wrong, why didn't they shut the window themselves if they knew everyone would be leaving the house. Leaving it to someone else to work out it not right, how was person B to know that A is a lazy plonker, unless they know that already. You should have shut it breadstick (a?).
