What Can I Do For Feeling Better?
6 Answers
Hello everyone. I'm a junior in my high school and I have a big problem. Most of my classmates use to bully me everyday and I can't stand this anymore. Everyday I'm coming back at home from school I'm usually starting to cry until I don't have any tears. Last summer I was in a camp where I made a lot of friends from different towns but we get along very well and we are still good friends. I were very happy there like I couldn't be in my town just because of my classmates. I'm really depressed about this situation. I'm trying to ignore them but they don't stop spreading rumors about me. I just feel like I'm all alone and nobody can understand me. I talk everyday with my friends from the camp and they make me feel a little better but I just miss them so much. I can't wait to see them again in the spring( we organized a meeting) and then I'll spend a great time with them at the camp in the summer. Everytime I'm at school I'm just staying in my desk, listening to music and going through the photos from the camp on my phone. These photos make me smile and make me feel a little better while I'm in school but it doesn't work when I'm trying to ignore my classmates. I don't know what I can do anymore. They use to bully me just because I'm the shy type and they don't even want to know me. The past years of highschool made me really depressed and anti-social. And I can't talk with anyone about this excepting my friends from the camp. What can I do to be happy again?

Do you have a sympathetic teacher you can ask for help?
Alternatively, are there any after school activities that you would enjoy that would get you into the company of like-minded people ? Dance classes/clubs or art classes/clubs for example? Then you would have a circle of friends closer by than the ones you made at camp.
You clearly can make friends with people as you have done at camp, so the problem does not stem from you, just some inconsiderate nasty types who need to look down on someone else to build themselves up.
