I went to the dentist first thing this morning and I never have any apprehensions about whatever dental work that is ever required. However, on each visit, I'm sat in the chair, mouth wide open, he leans in to look at what he's doing and his coffee breath tumbles onto my face, up my nose and into my mouth so that I can all but taste it. He must gulp some down between patients because his breath is still warm. Staring up his nose at his nasal hair is one thing but this is yuk!
Anyone have a similar problem with their dentist? Would alcoholic breath be better for both of us? It's only a couple of times a year so not worth complaining about.
Oh don't .... thinking about it, that's probably what out me off the dentist in my childhood. Not coffee breath particulary but definitely stale breath and not let up whe you're having a filling.
Wow, are you serious? My dentist is both old and Nhs and he ALWAYS wears a mask. The next thing you'll be telling us is that he doesn't wear gloves or wash his implements. Be very careful, remember this
And remember that Ebola is a very real threat especially at this time of year when our immune systems are low and accepting pretty much any virus who wan't to enter us
If I go to the dentist, it means I'm in severe pain. I am allergic to latex, so I am always on my guard. However these days most gloves/implements are latex free, so once I've checked out the materials I couldn't care less about his or her breath!
