2015: The Year Of Being Nice?

Morning all!

We've noticed that a few people are suffering from NYGS - that's "New Year's Grouch Syndrome".

This is a serious condition afflicting quite a few regulars on The AnswerBank.

It mostly manifests in making rude, snide or mean-spirited to new or not well-known visitors to the site.

While it's a very serious issue, we'd really prefer it if NYGS sufferers could suffer without involving the rest of us?

I mean, it's pretty harmless stuff, why be so grumpy about it?

As a sufferer of NYGS myself, I would like to warn you that my particular version of this manifests in suspending offer sufferers when they start being particularly grumpy.

I'm not a big fan either ummmm, maybe the threat of getting a hug if you don't play nice might deter the grumps?

Well said Ed. I've noticed quite a few(usually the same ones) posters can be quite offensive and abusive. Play nice boys and girls ! xx

I try to be as I always am at home helpful, honest, straight, but a few on here try your patience at time with their snide un-funny remarks, I often wonder at times has the person/s got a problem in life! defensive I may be, but are we not all the same when the clever Clique appear? at times I DO HAVE a problem putting thing together but am I on my own? this site is supposed to be a family, but I often wonder, how many type a reply in & can not see your mistake until it's in print, some of us do have that problem think about that, but you can not tell the smart *** can you.
