Speechless!

Wine day, pancake day, save the gerbil day and now Boiler Service Day... it's getting bloody ridiculous!

Question Author
Talbot....you do know my gerbil died, don't you?... :-(
That's what gerbils do best, gness.

Rarely from an overdose of home make wine fumes though....still, I guess he went merrily..x
Servicing old boilers...mmmmm;-)

Oh buzz off you, and find me some Waxwings to chase!...☺
Not many waxwings this year, gness. Went to see great grey shrike last week. It was a no show, only to return the next day:(
Question Author
Not many at all, Melv....none here. Seems to have stayed in Scotland and the East Coast....

Sod's law with the shrike....better luck next time....x
Boiler man came to see to ours as well today, it's been broke down since Sunday tea time. Couldn't fix it he's got to come back on Monday, a circuit board has gone kaput ( not catapult ) and so he's got to order a new one.
What happened to the professionals who used to carry spares with them?
The guy said that their not allowed to do that anymore, to much stuff getting stolen !.
It begs the question, What was he doing with your catapult to break it?
Yeah, what was he doing ?.
Cobblers! So anybody on a call to a home is incapable of locking a van. Or perhaps he/she is doing the stealing? Not someone you would want in your home. Vetted by the company worked for?
"Not got one with me."
Two visits, two charges.
T'was on the Monday morning the gasman came to call

No charge, Daisy ( well not directly ) it's being fixed on insurance. The spare part stuff is down to the company he works for, it's their policy apparently.
T'was on a Monday he had to come back again !.
You pay the insurance, insurance pays, your insurance costs rise. Boiler people get paid twice.
