Two guys sitting at the bar in a country pub strike up casual conversation and it turns out they share an interest in beekeeping, so they begin comparing notes.
“How many bees do you have?” asks Bob.
“Not exactly sure, but probably over a million now. They’re spread over six hives. How about you?”
“We’ve been going a while, and I’d guess there are about fifteen million bees”.
“Fifteen million! Impressive” says Alf. “How many hives?”
“Only one”.
“Just one? For fifteen million bees?”
“Yeah. They’re only bees. F*** ‘em”.
I'm sure the punchline must be obvious to all. It's a beekeeper who should care for their bees, but the surprise (unexpected) twist is that they say that they are, "Only bees", and so don't care if they are all jammed into the one hive.
No doubt funnier if intoxicated and less analytical.
