The Pope

A man was sitting next to the Pope on an aeroplane. The pope was concentrating intently on a crossword puzzle, and one of the clues was clearly taxing his mind so much that after a few minutes he turned to his fellow passenger for help.
"Excuse me", said the Pope, "but can you think of a four letter word ending in 'unt' that refers to a woman ?
"How about 'aunt' " suggested the man
"Oh, of course," said the Pope. "I don't suppose you have an eraser ? "
