Are fun fairs all that much fun or just a rip off .About a pound a minute ..Should they not be more regulated .When there's a festival in town they appear and ruin the whole show with noise flashing lights .Indont think its at all fair .What is your views ?
Never went but think its a rip off and puts more pressure on mothers and fathers of young children who can't refuse their young uns a "go" at a pound a minute amusement .
I used to love the ride that was called Noah's Ark. It used to spin around so quickly that it was just a blur in front of your eyes. It really appealed to my daredevil nature so I used to sit on the outside rails - if you didn't lean inwards and hang on for dear life you would be catapulted off. Great fun but no way would you be able to do that nowadays.
''Do you have children, weecalf?
Maybe look at it through their eyes''
Indeed. The looks on the little cherub's faces as weecalf says 'no', 'too expensive', 'squeeze your baby brother in to the footwell of the dodgem' and 'did you bring your piggybank?' will be priceless...
