Friday. not quite so nippy this morning. Still cloudy though. Still a bit too nippy for Tiggy to be out long.

Having to use Vera's poota as mine has decided to play silly games and refusing to behave nicely, it won't work with being connected by an ethernet cable. Can't remember how to make it play nicely. Can't get hold of grandson, got no idea where he is!

Such is life.

Morning Birdies, another beautiful morning up here in N. Wales. We have had a week of lovely sunshine and very warm afternoons, although it is a bit nippy first thing. Think I will take good walk along the promenade and have a look at how the recent major upgrading of sea defences is looking. The prom has been closed to vehicles for about 12 months now and is supposed to open again this month.

Morning togo. It's been much the same here. The clouds are dispersing nicely, so it should be warmer today. We shall see.

What happened was...I was slicing some meat and attempted to amputate it, inadvertently, I hasten to add! Have you ever tried to bandage your own finger? You couldn't write comedy like it! :o}

Ouch Boaty...that made my nerves jangle this early. Are you sure you don't need a stitch or a proper finger dressing?

It's fine thanks. I was a field medic in army days, so I have a good knowledge of such injuries, although I did nick a vein, so claret everywhere. It's doing fine and the bandage should be off in about another four or five days.

Morning wbm xxx and all xxx that finger will annoy you for days now it is like when you hurt your toe you keep hurting it in the same place .

Morning wendi xxx You're not wrong! I did it a week ago, but it's mending nicely. The only reason I'm keeping the bandage on is to allow the skin to knit properly. Being on the tip of said finger you can bet your life it'll get knocked every five minutes!
